"yoga camp" - Bikram style....

"Yoga camp" is crazy. Way crazier than I can even begin to describe. I don't have much time to notice how icky L.A. is. I don't have time for taking photographs or writing blogs or sending email or ANYthing, but yoga, yoga, yoga and more yoga. and then I get to listen to people talk about yoga and how to teach yoga and how yoga has changed their lives and how great Bikram is, for 6 hours a day while sitting on the floor which we have all just been sweating all over. Only 5 weeks and 2 days left until graduation day. that's roughly 56 yoga classes and 320 hours of lectures/posture clinics to go.
There are 292 fellow yoga teacher trainees here from all over the world -- Germany, France, Italy, Spain, England, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, Vancouver - BC Canada, Hawaii, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Chile, Mexico, NYC, Japan, China, Thailand, etc -- really everywhere. The process is grueling and demoralizing at times, but also amazing and fun too.

I was wondering how you were surviving. My God. That's a lot of yoga. And sweat. Um. I hope you're staying hydrated.
I'm going to be in LA this coming Thursday, but I'm not sure whether I'll stay the night. I'll call you if I have a free minute. You can tell me about yoga.
