doing just whatever I want, listening to just whichever music I want, wandering slowly, dawdle-ing, reading, luxuriating in solitude and saying hello when I am again not alone.

I love the line “saying hello when I am again not alone”.
I love that too.
I'm with you on this response, dear one. “Luxuriating in solitude” is one of my favorite things, as is “saying hello again when I am again not alone.” I'm a little sad to observe how nervous and uncomfortable many people are these days with silence and solitude, with unbusyness in general. (How about that for a made up word?)

scavenger hunt – this is the only one that wasn't taken today. It was taken on january 2nd, 2004 with my first digital camera. tiny little point and shoot. 3 megapixels. from the shopping center parking lot using the roof of my car to help me stay still enough for a longer exposure.
