This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 05, 2007:
for me -- levitation in 11 different languages. particularly the languages of love and laughter. If I can master those two languages I just know I will be able to physically levitate. the joy is the practicing and dreaming.
for humanity -- universal, unconditional love. I sometimes see in my mind's eye -- peoples that have been warring for years and generations laying down their arms and crying and laughing simultaneously and embracing one another. I see children laughing those pure, clear laughs of unsullied joy. I see a planet that is a verdant garden of edible plants and luxuriant shade. I see wild diversity. I see people helping one another; discovering together the deep joy of deep gratitude. I see the shocked look on our each individual faces when we each individually have those "aha" moments. I see our each indiividual bemused expressions when someone who has just discovered what we found out a year or a moment of a lifetime ago tries to preach us the gospel that we have been living and there is deep love behind those bemused smiles. I see people listening intently to one another's truths, hearing the magic of the joys and sorrows of one another's each individual life experiences. I see a smaller sea of humanity than is currently on the planet. I see us collectively having fewer children living longer, healthier, richer-in-many-ways lives. I see us dancing, laughing, singing, playing, discovering, enjoying and relaxing. I see us caring less about getting and more about appreciating -- as a whole.
i don't know if I am qualified to dream for the earth, sky, elements, space, time.... but I would love to be privy to their greatest dreams once or twice in this life. that's the kind of curiosity that may have killed the cat, but gives me wings.
