This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 02, 2008:
jordan is never far from my mind or my memory, but lately he is always, every minute, every second in my mind. whether my mind is quiet or agitated or content or busy, he is there. and in my heart even more. and every split second stretching into forever is a prayer that he can feel the love for him coming up through his feet as they touch the earth and in through his nostrils as they breathe the air and flowing into him as he drinks the water and singing to him in the wind and shining down on him from the stars. one day I know all that love is going to flow back out from him and I can't wait to see how it manifests in the world. this is one gorgeous, special, smart, funny, talented kid, and I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom.

Adrian is almost 25 now and he is a completely amazing and brilliant person and he's been this same person always. Getting to bring a new person onto the planet has been one of the most life-expanding experiences ever, and it only has gotten better, all along the way.
And seeing how this being and your foundation with them manifests into the world is SOOOOO much fun.
It's good that you are en-joying every split second.
It's hard to watch our kids stumble down the “path” to enlightenment, tripping over the “rocks” and falling into the “pot-holes” placed there long before they even emerged from our womb. I remember tearfully talking to a wise friend of mine about my illness when things were rough, not only for me, but for everyone in the family. I found myself saying, “I know they 'signed on' for this life with me, and I with them, and that all these challenges we are facing were meant to be, but that understanding doesn't make it any easier to watch them going through it.”
At times like these, the best - and sometimes, the only thing we can do is what you are doing. Love them … and extend that Love to ourselves too. Peace, Otter
oh!! this is why I belong in this community! my heart is overflowing with gratitude and so my eyes are brimming with tears. (eyes being the release valve for the heart when it's too full) thank you, each, for taking the time to share your wisdom with me…. you reinforced these points for me:
1) that its so important to keep the love flowing
2) that is is FUN and an adventure to go on this journey. even roller coasters can be fun if you have the right frame of mind.
3) that loving is the BEST thing to do for our loved ones and ourselves….
which brings me to remembering this… I want to choose love based action over fear based action.

yes I am pretty sure how much you love n care for your son since your flow of loves and friendliness is clearly visible through your bubbly and wide particiaption in this wonderful community. you are shining dawnjee in this community due of your friendliness.

Oh my goodness … I'm in tears at your motherly love. I look at this picture of your son, and I read your words so warm and loving and I'm reminded that we are all embodiments of love. Children do leave to find their way, and sometimes get a little lost and forget who they are. This is just a play of the universe. They always come home, to the family that loves them, to the mother who feeds them in the cradle of her warm bossom, to the love that they are. Yes, keep your heart open and the love flowing. Brew a fresh pot of love each morning before you put your feet on the ground. Give thanks for your ability to respond in a loving way. LAVISH his with love even if he is not around. It works … I promise you.
