I "captured" this image with my phone while on a gallery walk with Sarah. It "captured" my heart.

Wow. I absolutely adore art that melds emotion and mechanics! Wouldn't it be amazing if this was the heart the Tin Man won in OZ? I'm so jazzed by this. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! there are so many spots to look at - and the whole thing too. I keep going back and forth. I am dizzy now. Anyway, it is fabulous!
Really an amazing piece of art - so many details !! -
It could in my view, fit in as the dashboard on the marvelous car IL TEMPO GIGANTE - made with great passion and LOVE by the caracter and inventor Reodor Felgen with sympathetic assistance of Ludvig and Solan Their human creator was Kjell Aukrust.
I think I will go back to the gallery and find the name of the artist today on my lunch break. I’ll add a comment with the artist’s name after I find it. and maybe a link with some more of his work if we’re lucky. :-)
I love those links Ane Lis.
I think this would be a great tin man heart! and a great marvelous car heart too.
it’s such a great sculpture piece. I want to touch it, but I won’t. :-)
oh, it's a poor battered heart, come all unsprung, that's found its own new radiance
Like we all do…
like we all do…..
somehow that line made me think of rosencrantz and gildenstern are dead and the way a line is delivered in it, which made me think of a fabulous, wonderful old friend who had moved away but recently made contact who is mentioned here. and that made me remember way, way back to learning a blue bird or brownie song called “make new friends” which continues, “but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold” which made me see this piece of art in a way that I hadn't yet seen it and oh lordy lordy– I have to wiggle my hips and get another sip of wine and apologize because I didn't make it to back to the gallery at lunch today. instead I went through the wedding photos that I liked best from the june 21st wedding, wherein I pretended to be a professional photographer and artist, with the bride who was so lovely- thousand watt smile and so, so, so in love– and it all reminded me of this piece of art and also of something more optimistic feeling to me.
I'm going to have to post a photo of that incredibly beautfiul couple now. I'm just going to have to.
I'll try to make it to the gallery again during tomorrow's lunch hour.
