So I gather from this that you pay attention to quite a bit of stuff when embodied…Jon xxooxx
when embodied……. si. and I can't remember if I do pay attention when disembodied. that's good food for thought. tanks. -d
great photo dawn! now I want to go play with water.. I luuv that big word collection of yours, made my busy mercurian mind take off in several directions simultaneously.. weee!
web of causation.. I'm not altogether sure what that means, but I like the sound it makes when I say the words.
price of innocence=impotence.. interesting.
shiva - dance destruction paradoxical joy.. this one I get. I do cherish the shiva energy in me & the paradoxical joy there is to be found in the destruction dance; although I must say, things does occasionally get rather heated when Kali decides to butt in on the dancin..tsk
tara – I had been paying attention to the ideas of both web of causation and price of innocence because of an article I read in yoga journal last night by sally kempton. I coudn't find an online version of that article to link to. if you have access to a print version of yoga journal, I highly recommend the article called “play your part” by sally kempton in the wisdom section on page 67 of the september 2008 issue.
I've also been enjoying a recorded discussion between bill harris of centerpointe and alan wallace, in which they talk about indra's net and quantum entanglement which is one of my absolute favorite ideas. just the words quantum entanglement make me feel elated. :-)
and I love your mind!

Sally Kempton, very cool. I'll have to check that out later. I love these lists of yours.
Dawn we make a good pair because all I usually pay attention to is the crack patterns in the sidewalk or the edge shape of a cloud. I need you!
oh, wauv! thank you for info links dawn, very very sweet of you. My mind loves something new, yay! & my mind loves yours too. It's very late now, i've officially been asleep for hours, so I'll read up on it tomorrow & knowing me, I'm likely to come back with more questiones. Quantum entanglement is a fabulous term indeed; Next step will be to figure out how to slip them casually into conversation.
i like your list and i looked up quantum entanglement and it is a little beyond me. I did bookmark it so I should go back and try again. your list has inspired me to put down this computer and go do a little yoga. thanks for that. bye
jenni – in a nutshell quantum entanglement is what scientists have named the phenomenon that is this– when two particles touch or interact in any way, they are forever entangled with each other and no matter the distance between them, they forever affect each other. it's quantum mechanics, but it's also what contemplatives have been saying for ages. every particle that makes up you and me and the whole universe is interconnected. there is no you and me separately, only the illusion of you and me. if even one of the atoms that makes up you or me has touched or interacted - they are forever and ever and ever - entangled. they will always affect each other.
it's so cool!!! it makes me giddy. I can't explain why.
i do love that concept and kind of figured maybe that might be what they were saying. I love that. jen
farland – it was perfect to see you and paul tonight. i needed that and I didn't even know it yet. thanks for stopping by - in person and online.
and tara and jenni and laura – I'm glad to be entangled with all y'all's particles. heehee -dawn
