I would like to stand next to the energy signature of someone so kind, thought-filled and generous as you.  I imagine it would light me up light a bulb!

I get a super-charge when Life's little bits and pieces mesh.  I think of them as a Cosmic Chuckle or maybe a “Gotcha”, either way you'll get a smile.

In my perspective, the three best books on the subject of human energy are “Hands of Light” by Barbara Brennan; “Energy Medicine” by Donna Eden; and “Anatomy of the Spirit” by Caroline Myss.

I don't believe you will find the term ”Energy Signature” in any of those books.  It is a coin that I phrased while writing my dissertation.  I learned early on that a “one size fits all” approach does not work.  Each person's energy is unique to them, just like their signature …

Laurie: I was about to ask you just the same thing that Dawn did. Energy signatures! Say more! Your dissertation doesn't happen to be published, does it?

And Dawn: I had an amazing reading done a few weeks ago by Paul Richards of the Sente Center, and I wish that the Richards' had more published material on the subject, because I find their articulation of energy bodies and human energetics profoundly grounded and pragmatic. You might want to look into Core Energetics, though, which I've been having fun exploring; it's a little more 'therapy' based than Sente (which places itself in a different realm than psychology), but I've found it useful all the same.

Have any of you read The Subtle Body? 

Yes! I picked it up just about a few weeks ago. It's excellent. I was a little intimidated at first (it's quite comprehensive) but ended up appreciating the overview and broad context. Core Energetics (the book, by John Pierrakos) is another good overview.

Siona - In answer to your question above … My book (based on my thesis), “Drop the Bags and No One Will Get Hurt: A Practical Guide to Abundant Living,” is currently making its way (with me in tow) through the very interesting and complicated maze of non-fiction literary agents, editors and publishing houses.  It currently feels like I'm in the spin-cyle of a washing maching.  But it's worth the ride because I know full-well that I will come out clean and shiney.  Every “no” that I receive simply puts me that much closer to my “YES!”

“The Subtle Body” (by Cyndi Dale) just came out on Kindle.  It's on my reading list - whoohoo!
